2013 Filing in Docket No. ER13-2151-000
Dear Ms. Bose:
Pursuant to Section 205(d) of the Federal Power Act1 and Sections 35.9 and
35.15 of the Commission’s Regulations,2 the New York Independent System
Operator, Inc. (“NYISO”) submitted a Notice of Cancellation of an Amended and Restated Small Generator Interconnection Agreement (“Amended SGIA”), Service Agreement Number 1677, on August 13, 2013.3
The NYISO inadvertently entered the filing as a joint filing among NYISO and New York State Electric & Gas Corporation (“NYSEG”). While NYSEG is a party to the Amended SGIA and is included in the filing letter for service, NYSEG is not a joint filing party.
The NYISO has not served the filing, and is now seeking to withdraw it at the first possible opportunity. To the extent they are applicable, the NYISO
requests waiver of the service requirements in 18 C.F.R. 35.2(e) and the
requirements in 18 C.F.R. § 35.17(a)(2) and requests that the Commission accept this withdrawal, and to avoid any future confusion on the matter, remove the inadvertent filing, and refrain from posting this letter in e-library.
The NYISO respectfully requests that the Commission accept this withdrawal for the reasons specified herein.
