Re:    Filing to Address an eTariff Public Viewer Image Rendering Issue,
Docket No. ER11-1975-000

Dear Ms. Bose:

On November 1, 2010, the New York Independent System Operator, Inc. (“NYISO”)
tendered for filing an executed standard large generator interconnection agreement
(“Interconnection Agreement”) among the NYISO, Long Island Lighting Company d/b/a LIPA
(“LIPA”) a wholly-owned subsidiary of Long Island Power Authority (“Authority”), and the
Developer,1 Long Island Solar Farm LLC (“Long Island Solar Farm”).  The Authority and LIPA
joined in this filing.2

By letter Order dated December 15, 2010, the Commission accepted for filing the abovereferenced Interconnection Agreement.  The Commission’s Order noted that although the
submittal was complete and displayed correctly in eLibrary, the submittal did not display
correctly in eTariff.  The Commission therefore conditioned acceptance of the submittal upon the submittal of administrative revisions within 30 days of the date of the issuance of the Order to ensure that the submittal displays properly in eTariff.

Among the documents included in the November 1, 2010 filing was a clean version of the executed Interconnection Agreement submitted in .pdf format.  Whereas it was this .pdf

1 Capitalized terms not otherwise defined in this letter have the meaning set forth in Attachments S and X of the NYISO’s Open Access Transmission Tariff (“OATT”).

2  The Authority is a corporate municipal instrumentality and a political subdivision of the State of New York.  Both the Authority and its operating subsidiary, LIPA, are non-jurisdictional municipal utilities pursuant to section 201(f) of the Federal Power Act.  See New York Independent System Operator, Inc., 111 FERC ¶ 61,266 (2005).

document that did not render properly in the eTariff public viewer, the NYISO has converted the .pdf file into an .rtf format that is readable in Microsoft WordPad.  Based on conversations with Commission staff and limited experience regarding image rendering issues with the eTariff
public viewer, it is the NYISO’s understanding that in such revised format, the document will view properly in the eTariff public viewer.  That document being the only part of the November 1, 2010 filing that did not render properly in the eTariff public viewer, it is the only portion of the original filing submitted here with administrative revisions.

If any further issues arise, please feel free to contact the undersigned.
