Interconnection Agreement between Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation and the Village of Ilion, New York
Corrected Electronic Tariff Submittal
Dear Secretary Bose:
On Friday, June 24, 2011, Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation d/b/a National
Grid (“Niagara Mohawk”) authorized the New York Independent System Operator, Inc.
(“NYISO”) to submit on behalf of Niagara Mohawk an Interconnection Agreement
(“Agreement”) between Niagara Mohawk and the Village of Ilion, New York (“Ilion”).
The Agreement is designated as Service Agreement No. 1755 under the NYISO open
access transmission tariff. The NYISO submits service agreements under the NYISO
OATT on behalf of Niagara Mohawk to comply with the Commission’s electronic tariff
filing requirements.1
The NYISO informed Niagara Mohawk after 4 PM on Friday that, due to
technical issues, the NYISO was unable to include Exhibits B and C to the Agreement in
the electronic tariff version of the Agreement being prepared for Friday’s submission.
The undersigned requested that the NYISO submit the Agreement to the Commission on

Friday and submit a corrected electronic tariff version of the Agreement with Exhibits B and C on Monday, June 27 after the technical issues had been resolved. The service
copies of the Agreement and Commission filing materials sent to the Village of Ilion, the New York Public Service Commission, and the NYISO on Friday, June 24 included
Exhibits B and C to the Agreement. Niagara Mohawk now submits a corrected electronic tariff version of the Agreement including Exhibits B and C.
Niagara Mohawk continues to request a shortened comment period on this filing
and waiver of the 60-day prior notice period to permit this agreement to become effective
on July 1, 2011. As explained in the cover letter for the Agreement filing, the July 1,
2011, effective date is critical to Ilion’s plans to maintain jobs in upstate New York
through arrangements with the Remington Arms Company factory located in the Village.
Provided that it does not affect the July 1 effective date, Niagara Mohawk does nor object
to a comment period that runs until July 5, the next business day after seven days from
today’s submission of the corrected electronic tariff filing of the Agreement.
Thank you for your assistance in this matter. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact the undersigned.
Sincerely,
/s/ Sean Atkins
