Re: New York Independent System Operator, Inc., Docket ER12-1215-000 Errata to
Filing re: Proposed Tariff Clarifications Regarding Day-Ahead Margin Assurance Payments to Gas Turbines and Request for Waivers
Dear Ms. Bose:
On March 6, 2012, the New York Independent System Operator, Inc. (“NYISO”)
submitted a Section 205 filing (“March 6th Filing”) in the above-captioned proceeding proposing
to amend the Market Administration and Control Area Services Tariff (“Services Tariff”). It has
since come to the NYISO’s attention that due to an administrative oversight, an incorrect version
of Section 25 of the Services Tariff was submitted with the March 6th Filing. The blacklined and
clean versions of Section 25 that were submitted with the March 6th Filing did not show the
changes proposed in the March 6th filing letter. The NYISO discussed the minor revisions it
intended to make to the Services Tariff in its filing letter at page 6 but failed to include, in
Attachment I and Attachment II, tariff sections that accurately reflected the proposed revisions.
Therefore, the NYISO is making this errata filing to submit blacklined and clean versions
of Section 25 of the Services Tariff indicating the one-sentence change it proposes to make to
subsection 25.2.1 as explained in its March 6th Filing. Attachment I to this filing letter contains a
clean version of the proposed revisions to the Services Tariff described above. Attachment II to
this filing letter contains a blacklined version of the proposed revisions to the Services Tariff.
The NYISO is requesting the same effective date for these tariff revisions as it requested in its
March 6th Filing.
This filing will be posted on the NYISO’s website at www.nyiso.com. In addition, the
NYISO will e-mail an electronic link for this filing to the official representative of each party to
this proceeding, to each of its customers, to each participant on its stakeholder committees, to the
New York Public Service Commission, and to the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities.
The NYISO respectfully requests that the Commission accept this erratum to the March 6th Filing as an administrative correction and not issue a new public notice.
Ms. Kimberly D. Bose, Secretary March 8, 2012
