Re: New York Independent System Operator, Inc., Docket ER12-701-000 Errata to Filing
re: Tariff Amendments to Add External Coordinated Transaction Scheduling
Market Rules and Request for Waiver
Dear Ms. Bose:
On December 28, 2011, the New York Independent System Operator, Inc. (“NYISO”)
submitted a filing (“Initial Filing”), pursuant to Section 205 of the Federal Power Act,1 in the
above-captioned proceeding. It has since come to the NYISO’s attention that due to an
administrative oversight, blacklined and clean versions of Section 16.2 of the NYISO’s Open
Access Transmission Tariff (“OATT”) were not submitted with the Initial Filing. The NYISO
discussed the minor revisions it intended to make to OATT Sections 16.2.2.3 and 16.2.2.6 in its
filing letter at page 18 but failed to include the tariff section itself. In addition, it has come to the
NYISO’s attention that the numbering of subsections internal to the new Attachment P that the
NYISO proposes to add to its Market Administration and Control Area Services Tariff
(“Services Tariff”) needs slight revision.
Therefore, the NYISO is making this errata filing to submit blacklined and clean versions
of Section 16.2 of the OATT indicating the changes it proposes to make to Sections 16.2.2.3 and
16.2.2.6 as explained in its Initial Filing. The NYISO also submits Attachment P showing, in blackline, the revisions it proposes to the numbering of Attachment P. The NYISO is also submitting a clean version of this second version of Attachment P.
Attachment I to this filing letter contains a clean version of the proposed revisions to the
OATT and Services Tariff described above. Attachment II to this filing letter contains a
blacklined version of the proposed revisions to the OATT and Services Tariff. Consistent with
116 U.S.C. §824d (2010).

the tariff sections submitted with the Initial Filing, the NYISO is requesting the same effective
date for these tariff revisions as it requested for the revisions submitted on December 28, 2011.
This filing will be posted on the NYISO’s website at www.nyiso.com. In addition, the
NYISO will e-mail an electronic link to this filing to the official representative of each party to
this proceeding, to each of its customers, to each participant on its stakeholder committees, to the
New York Public Service Commission, and to the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities.
The NYISO respectfully requests that the Commission accept this errata to the Initial Filing as an administrative correction and not issue a new public notice.
Please do not hesitate to contact the undersigned should you have any questions.
Respectfully submitted,
/s/ Mollie Lampi
