Comments In Support of the New York Transmission Owners
Dear Ms. Bose:
On June 22, 2011, the NYISO filed proposed errata tariff revisions in this docket to
correct a formula describing the calculation of the Import Supplier Guarantee Payment in
Section 25.6.2 of its Market Administration and Control Area Services Tariff (“Services
Tariff”).1 The NYISO’s June 22 Errata were necessary to complete the proposed revisions to
this formula which the NYISO had proposed in its December 28, 2010 filing in this docket.2
The NYISO appreciates the New York Transmission Owners’ filing in support of the
NYISO’s June 22 Errata.3 The NYISO agrees with the New York Transmission Owners that
the amendment to the NYISO Section 25.6.2 equation provided in the NYISO June 22 Errata
contains an unnecessary parenthesis following the term . The NYISO further agrees that
the formula provided by the New York Transmission Owners in its July 13, 2011 filing corrects this inadvertent error.
The deletion of this extra parenthesis is necessary but is ministerial only. The
presence of this unnecessary parenthesis, while it should be deleted, does not adversely
impact the operation of this equation and the deletion should not be considered substantive. The NYISO respectfully requests the Commission accept the June 22 Errata filing, with this correction to the equation, with an effective date of May 18, 2011, the effective date for the amendments proposed in the NYISO’s December 28, 2010 filing.
The NYISO will file a corrected Section 25.6.2 equation, deleting the unnecessary parenthesis, as soon as a Commission order is issued.
