NOTICE OF CHANGE IN ETARIFF BASELINE FILING DATE OF
THE NEW YORK INDEPENDENT SYSTEM OPERATOR, INC.

Pursuant to Rule 212 of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s

(“Commission”) Rules of Practice and Procedure, 18 C.F.R. § 385.212, the New York

Independent System Operator, Inc. (“NYISO”) respectfully submits this notice of change of the proposed filing date for its electronic baseline tariff filing and associated rate
schedules required by Order No. 714.

In its March 22, 2010 Informational Conference Regarding Electronic Tariff

Filings, Commission Staff stated that baseline filing dates are flexible, allowing each entity
to file at any time within the month it originally designated for its baseline filing in
response to the Commission’s December 1, 2009 notice.  Acknowledging this flexibility of
scheduling for baseline filings, the NYISO seeks to change its proposed baseline filing
date from June 2, 2010 to on or about June 30, 2010.  The additional time will serve the
NYISO well in preparing its voluminous Open Access Transmission Tariff (“OATT”),
Market Administration and Control Area Services Tariff (“Services Tariff”) and respective
related rate schedules and attachments to best comply with the directives in Order No. 714.
Accordingly, the NYISO herein notifies the Commission of its plan to change its previously scheduled electronic tariff baseline filing date of June 2, 2010 to a new date of on or about June 30, 2010.
