Re:Compliance Filing of the New York Independent System Operator, Inc.,
Docket No. RM01-5-000
Dear Secretary Bose:
In compliance with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s (“Commission”)
September 19, 2008 Order on Electronic Tariff Filings (“Order No. 714”),1 the New York
Independent System Operator, Inc. (“NYISO”) respectfully submits a baseline filing to be titled “NYISO Agreements.” The NYISO will use this eTariff title for submitting agreements to FERC in the regular course of NYISO business.
In Order No. 714 the Commission required that certain jurisdictional documents such as
tariffs, rate schedules, contracts, and agreements be filed electronically “in a fashion that would
permit the Commission to assemble and organize the disparate pieces of these agreements for
display and for use by the Commission and the public.”2 On July 30, 2010, the NYISO filed its
baseline tariff as a framework upon which to file future revisions to its tariffs. The instant filing
adds to this framework by creating an eTariff title for future electronic submission of
agreements.
