Re:    New York Independent System Operator, Inc. Docket No. ER19-467-00_; Errata to
Compliance Filing Establishing an Effective Date for the Energy Storage Resource
Participation Model

Dear Secretary Bose:

On August 12, 2020, the New York Independent System Operator, Inc. (“NYISO”) filed with
the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (“Commission”) a Compliance Filing Establishing an
Effective Date for its Energy Storage Resource Participation Model1 (“August 12 Filing”) for its
Energy Storage Resource (“ESR”) participation model in compliance with Order No. 841.  The
NYISO included with that filing a “clean” set of the tariff revisions accepted by the Commission in
this docket.

The NYISO has identified two ministerial errors in the August 12 Filing:  (i) the inadvertent omission of Market Administration and Control Area Services Tariff (“Services Tariff”) Section 2.18 in the submittal to the Commission’s eTariff system, and (ii) the inadvertent omission of a version of Services Tariff Section 23.2 that merges language effective in the instant proceeding into a version that is requested to become effective subsequent to the effective date requested in this proceeding.  The NYISO submits with this filing tariff records to correct both errors.

I.Documents Submitted with this Filing Letter

1. A clean version of Services Tariff Section 2.18 with an effective date of August 26,
2020 (“Attachment I”); and

2. A clean version of NYISO Services Tariff Section 23.2 merging the language that

became effective August 26, 2020 into a version that has been proposed by the NYISO to become effective on September 8, 2020 (“Attachment II”).2

1 New York Indep. Sys. Operator, Inc. August 12, 2020 Compliance Filing Establishing an Effective Date for the Energy Storage Resource Participation Model, Docket No. ER19-467-000, et al.

2 On July 9, 2020, the NYISO submitted tariff revisions to Services Tariff Sec. 23.2 in Docket No. ER20-1718-000, et al. The tariff revisions submitted in that docket did not reflect the tariff amendments accepted in this docket.  The tariff
revisions included in Attachment II merge the amendments proposed in this Docket No. ER19-467-000, et al., and ER20-
1718-000, et al., and are proposed to become effective on September 8, 2020.
