Dear Ms. Bose:

The New York Independent System Operator, Inc. (“NYISO”) submits its response to the
data request of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (“Commission”) issued in a
September 5, 2019, letter in the above-captioned proceeding (“September 2019 Letter”).  The
September 2019 Letter directed the NYISO to respond to eleven questions concerning the
interconnection of distributed energy resources in the NYISO’s region.  The NYISO’s responses
to each of the Commission’s questions are provided in Attachment A to this letter.

The NYISO will send an electronic link to this filing to the official representative of each
party to this proceeding, to the official representative of each of its customers, to each participant
on its stakeholder committees, to the New York Public Service Commission, and to the New
Jersey Board of Public Utilities.  In addition, a complete copy of this filing will be posted on the
NYISO’s website at www.nyiso.com.
