Dear Secretary Bose:

In accordance with the requirements of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission

(“Commission’s”) March 21, 2019 Order on Compliance1 (“Order”) and consistent with pages seven through nine of the New York System Operator Inc.’s (“NYISO’s”) June 27, 2018 Request for Leave to Answer and Answer (“Answer”) in this proceeding, the NYISO submits this filing to incorporate the additional Tariff revisions that the Commission instructed the NYISO to make in Paragraph 20 of its Order with an effective date of July 23, 2018.2

 

The attached revisions implement the changes that the NYISO proposed on pages seven

through nine of the NYISO’s Answer and the Commission accepted in Paragraph 20 of the Order.  In
particular, they modify the Generator notification and NYISO action deadlines specified in Sections

23.4.5.6.4.2.1 and 23.4.5.6.4.2.2.1 of the revisions to the NYISO’s Market Services Tariff.

I.Documents Submitted

1.This filing letter;

2.A clean version of the accepted revisions to the Services Tariff (“Attachment I”); and

3.A redlined version of the accepted revisions to the Services Tariff (“Attachment II”).

II.Effective Date

The NYISO has specified a July 23, 2018 effective date for its compliance revisions, which is consistent with the effective date specified in Ordering Paragraph (A) of the Order.

III.Service

The NYISO will send an electronic link to this filing to the official representative of each party
to this proceeding, to the official representative of each of its customers, to each participant on its
stakeholder committees, to the New York Public Service Commission, and to the New Jersey Board of
Public Utilities.  In addition, the complete filing will be posted on the NYISO’s website at
www.nyiso.com.

IV.Conclusion

The New York Independent System Operator, Inc. respectfully requests that the Commission accept this compliance filing.
