Notice of Cancellation of Superseded Interconnection Agreement with the Village of Ilion
Dear Secretary Bose:
Pursuant to Section 35.15 of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s
(“Commission”) regulations,1 Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation (“Niagara Mohawk”)
submits for Commission acceptance this Notice of Cancellation of a superseded
Interconnection Agreement (“Interconnection Agreement”) between Niagara Mohawk
and the Village of Ilion (“Ilion”).2 Niagara Mohawk requests that the Commission accept
this Notice of Cancellation effective 61 days after the date of this filing, i.e., September
26, 2018.
I.Background and Justification for Cancellation
The Interconnection Agreement went into effect on July1,2011.3The
Interconnection Agreement has been superseded and replaced by a new interconnection agreement between Niagara Mohawk and Ilion that the Commission accepted effective March 28, 2018.4
II.Effective Date
Niagara Mohawk requests that the Commission accept this Notice of Cancellation effective 61 days after the date of this filing, i.e., September 26, 2018.
