SUPPLEMENT OF THE NEW YORK INDEPENDENT SYSTEM OPERATOR, INC.
TO MOTION FOR AN EXTENSION OF TIME TO ANSWER COMPLAINT

On December 28, 2017, the Respondents in the above-captioned docket submitted a

motion requesting an extension of approximately 45 days (until February 23, 2018) to answer the
Complaint of the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities in this proceeding (“Motion”).  The
Respondents further asked that the Commission rule on the Motion by January 3, 2018.
On January 2, 2018, the New York Independent System Operator, Inc. (“NYISO”), one of the Respondents in this proceeding, received a call from a representative of the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General, who informed the NYISO that the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities would not oppose the Motion.  The NYISO respectfully submits this supplement to the Motion in order to convey this additional, relevant information to the Commission.

Respectfully submitted,
