Notice of Cancellation of Prior Interconnection Agreement with Selkirk Cogen Partners, LP
Dear Secretary Bose:
Pursuant to Section 35.15 of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s
(“Commission”) regulations,1 Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation (“Niagara Mohawk”) submits for Commission acceptance this Notice of Cancellation of an Interconnection Agreement (“Prior Interconnection Agreement”) with Selkirk Cogen Partners, LP
(“Selkirk”).2 Niagara Mohawk is cancelling the Prior Interconnection Agreement
because it has been superseded and replaced by a Large Generator Interconnection
Agreement between Niagara Mohawk and Selkirk (the “LGIA”).
Niagara Mohawk respectfully requests that the Commission accept this Notice of Cancellation effective as of December 6, 2017.
I.Background and Justification for Cancellation
In 2012, the Commission accepted for filing Niagara Mohawk’s submittal of the Prior Interconnection Agreement and granted Niagara Mohawk’s requested effective date of April 1, 2012.3
On August 24, 2017, the Commission accepted for filing Niagara Mohawk’s
submittal of the LGIA with an effective date of June 26, 2017, as requested by Niagara Mohawk.4

The Prior Interconnection Agreement has been superseded and replaced by the
LGIA. Niagara Mohawk respectfully requests that the Commission accept this Notice of
Cancellation effective as of December 6, 2017, i.e., 61 days after the date of this filing.
