Dear Secretary Bose:
On March 13, 2017, the New York Independent System Operator, Inc. (“NYISO”) filed proposed revisions to its Open Access Transmission Tariff (“OATT”) and Market
Administration and Control Area Services Tariff (“Services Tariff”) to implement: (i) a monthly balance-of-period (“BoP”) Transmission Congestion Contract (“TCC”) auction structure; and (ii) enhancements to the credit requirements for TCCs.1 The NYISO proposed a staged
implementation of the tariff revisions related to the BoP project.2
On April 14, 2017, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (“Commission”)
accepted the proposed revisions (“April 14 Order”).3 The Commission directed the NYISO to
submit “subsequent compliance filings specifying the effective dates for the relevant revisions, to be made no later than 14 days prior to the proposed effective dates.”4
The NYISO submits this filing to provide notice of the expected effective date for the
revisions to Attachment K of the Services Tariff that were accepted by the April 14 Order.

The NYISO respectfully submits the following document with this filing letter:

1. A clean version of the revisions to Attachment K of the Services Tariff that were
accepted by the April 14 Order with an effective date of June 22, 2017 (“Attachment
I”).
II. Notice of Effective Date for the Revisions to Attachment K of the Services Tariff
In compliance with the April 14 Order, the NYISO hereby provides notice to the
Commission that it expects to implement the revisions to Attachment K of the Services Tariff that were accepted by the April 14 Order on June 22, 2017.5 A clean version of the relevant tariff sections with an effective date of June 22, 2017 is provided in Attachment I.
III.Service
The NYISO will send an electronic link to this filing to: (i) the official representative of
each party to this proceeding; (ii) the official representative of each of its customers; (iii) each
participant on its stakeholder committees; (iv) the New York State Public Service Commission;
and (v) the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities. In addition, the complete filing will be posted
on the NYISO’s website at www.nyiso.com.
IV.Conclusion
The NYISO respectfully requests that the Commission accept this compliance filing.
