Errata to Compliance Filing
Dear Ms. Bose:
The New York Independent System Operator, Inc. (“NYISO”) is filing these errata to its
January 22, 2013 compliance filing in this docket.1 The NYISO’s January Compliance Filing
responded to the Commission’s directives contained in Ordering Paragraph C of its Order on
Compliance Filings.2 Among other responses and amendments included in the January
Compliance filing, the NYISO proposed the deletion of amendments earlier proposed for
Sections 21.5.3 and 21.5.3.1 of the NYISO’s Market Administration and Control Area Services
Tariff (“Services Tariff”).3 Section 21.5.3 had established the Bid Restriction on Regulation
Movement and had described an annual review of such Bid Restriction by the NYISO’s Market
Monitoring Unit (“MMU”). The proposed deletion was in response to the Commission’s
rejection of the NYISO-proposed Bid Restriction on Regulation Movement Bids.
Through an administrative oversight, the NYISO failed to also propose the deletion of
Services Tariff Section 30.4.6.3.3 which also describes the MMU’s annual evaluation of the Bid
Restriction on Movement Bids. Services Tariff, Section 30 contains, in a single location, all
