Dear Ms. Bose:
Pursuant to Section 205(d) of the Federal Power Act1 and Sections 35.9 and
35.15 of the Commission’s Regulations,2 on October 30, 2013, the New York
Independent System Operator, Inc. (“NYISO”) and Consolidated Edison Company of New York, Inc. submitted an Executed Amended and Restated Large Generator Interconnection Agreement and Request for Critical Energy Infrastructure
Information Designation for Service Agreement No. 1688.3
The filing included a clean public version of the agreement, a clean CEII
version of the agreement, a blacklined public version of the agreement and a
graphic of the signature pages for the agreement. NYISO inadvertently included
the CEII diagram in the blacklined public version. That diagram should not appear in the public version.
The NYISO has not served the filing, and is now seeking to withdraw it at the first possible opportunity. To the extent they are applicable, the NYISO
requests waiver of the service requirements in 18 C.F.R. 35.2(e) and the
requirements in 18 C.F.R. § 35.17(a)(2) and requests that the Commission accept this withdrawal, and to avoid any future confusion on the matter, remove the inadvertent filing, and refrain from posting this letter in e-library.
The NYISO respectfully requests that the Commission accept this withdrawal for the reasons specified herein.
