Re: Errata to Interface Pricing Compliance Filing of the New York Independent
System Operator, Inc., and Request for Shortened Notice and Comment Period; Docket No. ER13-780-___
Dear Ms. Bose:
The New York Independent System Operator, Inc. (“NYISO”) submits this errata to its
January 18, 2013 compliance filing in Docket No. ER13-780-000 (“January 18 Filing”) to
correct, in the eTariff system, the effective date of the proposed revisions to the NYISO’s Market
Administration and Control Area Services Tariff (“Services Tariff”). The proposed March 20,
2013, effective date for the tariff revisions was accurately specified in the filing letter included
with the January 18 Filing. The document that was submitted to the eTariff system, however,
was incorrectly assigned a March 30, 2013 effective date. This errata filing proposes a
ministerial change to correct the eTariff submission to assign a March 20, 2013 effective date in
the eTariff system.
I.LIST OF DOCUMENTS SUBMITTED
1.This errata letter;
2.A clean version of Attachment B, Section 17.1 of the Services Tariff
(“Attachment I”).
3.A redlined version of Attachment B, Section 17.1 of the Services Tariff
(“Attachment II”).
II.ERRATA
It has come to the NYISO’s attention that in its January 18 Filing it inadvertently entered,
in the eTariff system, an incorrect effective date for the proposed revisions to Services Tariff
Attachment B, Section 17.1. The March 20, 2013 effective date that NYISO intended to enter in
the eTariff system was accurately described in the January 18 Filing letter. In the instant filing
Kimberly D. Bose, Secretary January 25, 2013

the NYISO is resubmitting the tariff section to assign to it the correct effective date within the eTariff system.
III.PROPOSED EFFECTIVE DATE, REQUEST FOR SHORTENED NOTICE AND
COMMENT PERIOD AND REQUEST FOR EXPEDITED COMMISSION
ACTION
Because this proposed errata corrects a purely ministerial error and is entirely consistent with the information put forth in the January 18 Filing letter in the above-captioned proceeding, the NYISO respectfully requests the Commission waive the standard sixty day notice period and, to the extent necessary, establish a shortened comment period to preserve the effective date of March 20, 2013, requested in the January 18 Filing letter.1
IV.SERVICE
This errata to the NYISO’s January 18 Filing will be posted on the NYISO’s website at
www.nyiso.com. In addition, the NYISO will e-mail an electronic link to this filing to the
official representative of each party to this proceeding, to each of its customers, to each
participant on its stakeholder committees, to the New York Public Service Commission, and to the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities.
V.CONCLUSION
The NYISO respectfully requests that the Commission abbreviate the notice period,
expedite its review, and permit the NYISO’s proposed Tariff revisions to become effective on March 20, 2013 (the effective date requested in the January 18 Filing).
Respectfully submitted,
/s/ Alex M. Schnell
