Re:    New York Independent System Operator, Inc.’s Notice of Delay to Effective Date; Docket No. ER13-1199-000

Dear Ms. Bose:

On June 11, 2013, the Commission approved1tariff revisions submitted by the NYISO on March 29, 2013, to better align the credit requirements for external transactions with
market risk in the New York Control Area.2  In its March Filing, the NYISO requested an effective date of June 12, 2013, but indicated that if the deployment date for the associated software is delayed it would notify the Commission.  The Commission’s June Order accepted the requested effective date of June 12, 2013, as well as such later date as may be indicated in a notice to be filed by NYISO by June 12, 2013.3

The NYISO hereby notifies the Commission that it will be implementing the tariff
changes accepted in the Commission’s June Order on June 18, 2013 rather than June 12,
2013.  If the scheduled deployment on June 18, 2013 is delayed by system conditions in the
New York Control Area, the NYISO will notify FERC of an alternate effective date of June
20, 2013 through the filing of a notice with the Commission no later than June 18, 2013.

Tariff sections accepted in the June Order are being resubmitted herein noting the June 18, 2013 effective date.
