Re:    New York Independent System Operator, Inc., Errata to Compliance Filing,
Docket No. ER12-2414-00[_]

Dear Ms. Bose:

The New York Independent System Operator, Inc. (“NYISO”) is filing this errata
to its August 6, 2012 compliance filing in response to the Commission’s June 22, 2012
order1 in Docket No. EL11-42-000 (“August 6 Filing”).  The errata is necessary to submit
correct versions of the tariff documents that were attached to the August 6 filing, as further
explained below.  The proposed revisions included in the tariff documents that are the
subject of this errata were accurately described in the filing letter included with the August

6 Filing.

I.LIST OF DOCUMENTS SUBMITTED

1. The errata letter;

2. A blacklined version of the modifications to Attachment H Section 23.4 of the
Market Administration and Control Area Services Tariff (“Services Tariff”)
(“Attachment I”); and

3. A clean version of the modifications to Attachment H Section 23.4 of the Services
Tariff (“Attachment II”).

II.ERRATA

Immediately after filing the NYISO realized that it had inadvertently attached  an
incorrect version of the proposed compliance tariff modifications to Services Tariff
Attachment H Section 23.4 that did not reflect the revisions to Sections 23.4.5.7.2.4,

23.4.5.7.3.2, and 23.4.5.7.3.6.  The compliance tariff revisions that NYISO intended to file and that are the subject of this errata were accurately described in the August 6, 2012 filing letter.  In addition, when the NYISO served parties with a copy of the filing, it
concurrently informed parties of the incorrect attachment, and also served a blackline
showing the intended revisions (i.e., Attachment I to this filing.)

III.EFFECTIVE DATE

The NYISO respectfully requests that the Commission accept these modifications
effective as of June 22, 2012, consistent with the date requested in the August 6 Filing.

IV.SERVICE

This errata to the NYISO’s August 6 Filing will be posted on the NYISO’s website
at www.nyiso.com.  In addition, the NYISO will e-mail an electronic link to this filing to
the official representative of each party to this proceeding, to each of its customers, to each participant on its stakeholder committees, to the New York Public Service Commission, and to the New Jersey Board of Public Utilities.

V.CONCLUSION

The NYISO respectfully requests that the Commission accept this errata for the reasons specified herein.

Respectfully submitted,

/s/ Vanessa A. Colón
