Dear Secretary Bose:
Pursuant to Section 205 of the Federal Power Act, 16 U.S.C. § 824d, and Part 35 of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s (“Commission”) regulations, 18 C.F.R. Part 35, Niagara Mohawk Power Corporation d/b/a National Grid (“Niagara Mohawk”) submits for filing and Commission acceptance an amendment to the Interconnection Agreement between Niagara Mohawk and the Village of Solvay (“Solvay”)
(“Interconnection Agreement”), designated as Service Agreement No. 1913 under the New York Independent System Operator, Inc.’s (“NYISO”) Open Access Transmission Tariff, FERC Electric Tariff, Original Volume No. 1.
The original version of the Interconnection Agreement was filed in this
proceeding on August 20, 2012. After the filing was submitted, Solvay requested a
change in its operating scheme, which required a revision to the one-line diagram for the
Mathews Avenue substation included in Exhibit A to the Interconnection Agreement.
Niagara Mohawk submits this amendment to modify the tariff record comprising
Exhibit A to substitute the revised one-line diagram. For the same reasons discussed in
August 20, 2012 filing, Niagara Mohawk requests that the modified tariff record be made
effective as of the same date as the rest of the Interconnection Agreement - June 18,
2012.
Copies of this filing have been served on Solvay, the NYISO, the New York State Public Service Commission, and all intervenors in this proceeding.
