Dear Secretary Bose:
On November 29, 2016, the New York Independent System Operator, Inc. (“NYISO”)
submitted to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (“Commission”) a Compliance Filing
Establishing an Effective Date for Behind-the-Meter Net Generation Tariff Revisions (“Compliance
Filing”).1 The Compliance Filing advised the Commission that the revisions described therein would
become effective for the December 13, 2016 market day. The NYISO has discovered that Market
Administration and Control Area Services Tariff (“Services Tariff”) Section 23.4.5 inadvertently
included tariff language that was proposed by the NYISO in Docket No. ER16-1751-000,2 and
accepted by the Commission on July 18, 2016, but will not become effective until after December 13,
2016.3
To correct the inadvertent inclusion of accepted but not yet effective tariff revisions
unassociated with Docket No. ER16-1213, the NYISO hereby submits to the Commission a corrected version of Services Tariff Section 23.4.5 to become effective on December 13, 2016. The language proposed and accepted in Docket No. ER16-1751-000 has been removed.

The NYISO hereby provides notice to the Commission that the corrected version of Services
Tariff Section 23.4.5 will become effective on December 13, 2016, consistent with the Compliance
Filing.
