NOTICE OF EXTENSION OF TIME

On November 21, 2017, the New York Independent System Operator, Inc. (NYISO) filed a Motion for Extension of Compliance Filing Deadline and for Expedited Commission Action (motion) to extend the deadline for submitting its compliance filing proposing additional reliability must run tariff revisions in the above-referenced docket by 30 days, or no later than January 16, 2018.  NYISO states that additional time is needed to adequately consider the Commission’s directives in the November 16, 2017 order,[1] to develop compliance revisions that fully address the directives, and to allow NYISO stakeholders an opportunity to review and provide feedback.  In addition, NYISO states that the additional time may enable NYISO to avoid disputes with stakeholders and to obtain input from the independent market monitoring unit.

Upon consideration, notice is hereby given that NYISO’s motion is granted and the deadline for NYISO to submit its compliance filing is extended to and including January 16, 2018.
