Re:    New York Independent System Operator, Inc.

FERC 3-Q, Quarterly Financial Report of Electric Utilities, Licensees, and Natural Gas Companies (RM08-5-000)

Dear Secretary Bose:

On November 29, 2018, the New York Independent System Operator, Inc. (“NYISO”) filed a
motion requesting a 15-day extension of the filing deadline for its Federal Energy Regulatory
Commission (“Commission”) Form 3-Q.  The request was made due to unexpected technical
difficulties NYISO encountered accessing and utilizing the Form 3-Q submission software.

In its motion seeking an extension of time to file the NYISO stated that it would submit Form 3-Q shortly after the technical issues it encountered were resolved.  The technical difficulties the
NYISO encountered have been resolved and the NYISO was able to complete and submit FERC Form 3-Q on December 7, 2018.

Respectfully submitted,

/s/ Christopher R. Sharp
